Weddings can get expensive so trying to DIY as much as possible makes perfect sense. Here’s an easy wedding table number idea using faux rose petals that can be customized to fit any style or decor.
- Darice Round Clear Glass Ornaments
- Darice Loose Satin Rose Petals
- Darice Hot Glue Gun
- Darice Decorative Craft Die
- Core’dinations Cardstock
Step 1. Begin by selecting the color of rose petals you’d like to use. For this wedding table number idea I used clear glass ornaments for a base. I started with a few white petals and then moved onto pink for the outer edges of the rose. Darice has a great variety to choose from so you’re sure to find something that matches your special day! Begin by gluing four petals tightly around the ornament.
Step 4. Hand write, stamp, or print your table numbers and use a decorative die cut to trim. Another option is to use pre-printed cards like these David Tutera table number cards!
The package of clear glass card holders came as a pack of 12 for under $4 and the petals were under $3 so that’s about $.50 per wedding table number holder. They’re inexpensive to make and easy to customize, doesn’t get better than that!
Of course, these sweet little rose holders can be put to good use after the wedding as picture or memo holders. You can add a bit of sand to the inside ornament if you plan on using them to hold up larger items. How precious would these look on a bedroom dresser or living room bookshelf? The options are endless!
