Bride and Groom Wedding Crafts Supplies:
- Two Champagne Flutes
- 1/4 Inch Ribbon in Black
- 7/8 Inch Ribbon in White
- 1/4 Inch Ribbon in White
- Darice Bling on a Roll
- Darice White Tulle
- Scissors
- Hot Glue Gun
Step 1. Starting from the bottom, wrap the ribbon around the stem of your champagne flute tightly, using hot glue to adhere the ribbon every so often. Cut the end when you get to the topmost part of the stem.
Step 2. You may want to add another strip of ribbon at the bottom for it to look cleaner.
Step 3. For the groom’s flute, make a bow by cutting a piece of your wider ribbon, gluing both ends together to form a loop, pinching it in the middle to create a bow and tying a narrower ribbon around it. Hot glue that onto the groom’s champagne flute.
Step 4. I wanted to add some detail that will be the same on the bride’s to connect the two wedding crafts, so I cut off some links from the Bling on a Roll using a pair of cutters.
Step 5. Hot glue them onto your groom’s flute. And you are done!
Step 6. For the bride’s flute, do step 1 and 2 with white ribbon. Next, get some tulle and wrap around a piece of cardboard like in the photo below.
Step 7. Take it off the cardboard and tie a piece of ribbon tightly around it.
Step 8. Trim the ends as shown to create your tulle pom. You will want to make two tulle pompoms to stick to the base of the champagne flute.
Step 9. Hot glue a pom pom on opposite sides of your champagne flute. Fluff them up to hide the division lines (where the pom poms meet).
Step 10. Trim until you like how it looks.
Step 11. Add your bling – I used the Bling on a Roll to create a sort of necklace embellishment for the bride’s flute. And that’s done!
It’s so easy to create these fun wedding crafts. A perfect present to give to a bride-t0-be.
