If you saw yesterday’s post, you’ll know that we’ve just had a weekend full of teddy bear party fun. My youngest has always had a thing for stuffed animals, and this was celebrated with a party of stuffy-love. We had a teddy bear clinic, but the party started with some good old fashioned coloring. Our first station was DIY goody bags decorated with personalized teddy bears.
- Darice Paper Goody Bags
- Sizzix Big Shot Die Cutting Machine
- Darice Die Cuts (Find one that fits your party theme.)
- Darice Stickers
- Crayons and Markers
- Darice Red Checked Tablecloth Roll
When I was young and my mom threw our backyard parties, the very first activity that each party-goer participated in was “goody bag decorating”. It didn’t matter the theme, nor the location, stickers and coloring were always on the menu.
I love that when we’re party planning, the Sizzix Big Shot and some die cuts can make decorating that much more simple and frugal. I had the kids cranking out the die cut teddy bears while I decorated the goody bag table.
What do bears love to eat best? (And please only go by the stereotypical information that cartoons have provided us….)
Our teddy bear party was a huge hit! With a few supplies and a bit of creativity, this party was easily one of the smoothest ones I’ve thrown. Why not invite the neighborhood kids and their stuffed friends over to your place for a party?
