Make these charming little seed packet favors for all your guests to bring home and plant in their garden. Just be sure the seed packets you pick have a meaning you want to convey. I used The Language of Flowers website to choose mine.
- Seed Packets
- Darice 4.5 Inch White Doilies
- Darice Washi Tape
- Ribbon (optional)
- Natural Burlap & White Pearl Flower Stamens
- OR Burlap Flowers
- White Craft Buttons
- Adhesive Tape Roller
- Quick Dry
- Paper Scraps
To begin making your DIY wedding favors, overlap two doilies approximately 1 inch and adhere using tape roller. I really like the tape roller as you don’t have to wait for a dry time.
To create the flower cut circles from the burlap. I cut three varying sizes approximately 2.5, 2, and 1.5 inches. I stacked one on top of the other and used a bit of the burlap string to sew them together, looping in the button and a few stamens.
If you aren’t comfortable sewing, a little Zip Dry will hold it all together. I glued the flower with a couple of flags made from scrap paper into the center of my packet to complete the embellishment.
