As our lives get busier, sometimes there isn’t time for a big cake or party on someone’s birthday. Sometimes the big fuss has to be postponed to another day… but that doesn’t mean that a birthday shouldn’t be celebrated! Take a little time to make a birthday a little brighter with this cute Birthday DIY Cupcake Stand. You can decorate the little cupcake cloche ahead of time, then add a fresh-baked (or freshly store-bought) cupcake on your special someone’s special day! These are great for celebrating a birthday at the office, at school, or to leave on the dining room table for the birthday boy or girl to find when they get home!
- Glass Cake Plate Cover
- Glass Paint Markers
- Rubbing Alcohol
- Paper Towels
Clean off your glass with the paper towels and rubbing alcohol. This creates a nice clean surface to draw your design on. Once your surface is clean, try not to get fingerprints on it. Use the paint pens to write “Happy Birthday” on your DIY cupcake stand.
If you make a mistake, you can wipe the glass paint off of your DIY cupcake stand with rubbing alcohol and a paper towel, and start again. Follow the instructions on the paint pen to bake the glass, making it dishwasher safe.
