I love creating fun little gifts to give at Valentine’s Day! It is such a fun time of year and I truly love giving…and so do my kids! So I have come up with a really cute and really versatile Valentine’s Day DIY treat bags that are perfect for giving nearly any gift to anyone! Whether you want to give a small toy to a child or a few homemade treats to a teacher or even a few delicious chocolates to your special someone, these sweet DIY treat bags can hold almost anything! And if you need a bigger bag…you can easily adapt this idea for a bigger (or smaller) bag too!
Valentine’s Day DIY Treat Bags Project Supplies:
- Darice Kraft Paper Sacks
- Heart Doilies
- Darice Heart Washi Tape
- Darice Double Sided Tape Runner or Glue
- Stamp and Ink Pad (Optional)
- Treats or Gift for Inside the Bag
You will begin by separating the heart doilies out. They stick together a little bit so separate out as many as you need. If you would like to add a cute Valentine’s Day inspired stamp, add that first.
After that you will fold the top of your kraft paper bags down and onto the same side as your heart doily is on. Use a bit of your red and white heart washi tape to secure the folded kraft paper bag down and in place.
This is the perfect way to package nearly any gift you plan to give during the month of February! If you’re looking for other ideas on how to package treats for Valentine’s Day, check out these adorable paper cup DIY Valentine gifts.
