Well, hello creative friends! I have a fabulous summer inspired post for you today! I have been channeling botanicals lately, and these little die cut DIY tags just scream tropical garden, dontcha’ think?? This new foliage die cut from Darice is my absolute favorite. They cut beautifully, and I love how they compliment the current botanical trend.
Botanical Paper DIY Tags Project Supplies:

- Darice Green Cardstock
- Darice Green Ink Pad
- Darice Black Ink Pad
- Paper Tags
- Pom-Pom Trim
- Muslin Bags
- Phrase Stamps

- Darice Mini Clothespins
To get started on your DIY tags, you’ll first cut several botanical leaves using the metal craft dies and a die cut machine.
Next, use your ink to apply some color variation to your cut leaves. This makes the leaves look a little more natural and life-like.
Adhere the die cut leaves in layers to the top of your tags. Ink the edges of your tags if desired.
Use sentiment stamps to personalize your DIY tags, or just hand letter some fun notes or phrases! These tags can be used for so many different occasions depending on the sentiments you use.
Next, layer and attach the tags to your muslin bags. I like to display tags at a little bit of an angle, but just do whatever looks good!
Last step! Embellish your DIY tags with pretty clothespins and ribbon.
Yay! These embellished tags are so easy to make, and I just love how they look. You can come up with so many design variations for your tags with all the different leaves included in the Darice die cut pack. When you attach your tags to these little bags, they make great little neighbor gifts or treats for co-workers.
