I am a sucker for anything snowman. Today’s super cute DIY Christmas cards looks complicated with all the detail, but thanks to pre-made Felties stickers, these cards came together quickly and easily. Just how I like for an already busy holiday season.

Let’s get started!
I will be using white core cardstock for this project. I like using white core for embossing, because with a little bit of sanding, the white core comes through where the image is embossed and it makes it really pop! That being said, you can skip the sanding part on this project- it will still turn out amazing!
Select a light gray piece of cardstock and trim it to fit your embossing folder. Run it through your machine following the manufacturer instructions.
Select a green piece of cardstock. Run the double tree die through your machine following your manufacturer instructions.
If you are using white core cardstock, lightly sand the embossed parts of the tree die, and the gray embossed falling dots piece.
You can see how the white core comes through in that image! An easy way to add some texture and dimension to your paper projects.
Using the largest of the nested circles, die cut the embossed falling dots piece.
Using the same circle, die cut a white cardstock circle. I used a scrap here. If you are mass producing these cards, you can cut a full circle and use both halves for two cards.
Cut the white piece down further, with a wavy edge. This is going to be your snowy ground in the snow-globe.
Start assembling your snow-globe by adhering the layers using foam dimensional adhesive.
Tuck your tree bottoms slightly underneath the “snow.”
Remove the sticker backing from the adorable Felties® snowman, and place him in his new home!
You can see here how the foam dimensional adhesive makes all of the elements pop, yet will still fit in a standard A2 envelope for mailing.
Add your sentiment.
You can choose to stamp, hand-write or computer generate your sentiment strip.
I used my computer to create a text box that I filled with color, and then left the text clear (so the white background of the cardstock would show.)
Trim sentiment to fit as desired.
Adhere finished snow-globe to an A2 white card base.
This would also be darling to adhere the finished snow-globe to a gift bag.
Once you make one of these cute DIY Christmas cards, you will see how easy and “snow” much fun they are!
