DIY Christmas gift tags are always great to have on hand as the holiday season approaches. It’s nice to give a full size card for birthdays and special occasions, but on holidays when you are giving away many gifts, little tags come in handy. It’s even better when they are super cute like these ones. Plus putting a bunch of handmade gift tags in a bucket makes for a cute gift too. I first saw this idea in a chain store a few years back and knew I wanted to recreate my own version of it.
DIY Christmas Gift Tags Bucket Supplies:
- David Tutera Kraft Tags with Ribbon.
- Darice Ribbon.
- Rubber Stamps & Ink.
- Darice See Thru Pail with Lid.
- Darice Silver Chenille Stems.
Step 1. Take your rubber stamp and ink and stamp each of the kraft tags. I went with 3 different designs. You can do as many or as little as you want. After you are done stamping all of your DIY Christmas gift tags, change out some of the ribbons that come with the tags and replace with Christmas ribbons. I went with green polka dots and red polka dots and thought they were adorable.
Step 2. Put all of your stamped DIY Christmas gift tags into your clear painter’s pail and wrap 1 silver chenille stem around the handle. Add some ribbon to either sides of the handle for some extra color and call it done.
