Today’s jewelry tutorial is brought to you by the Darice Design Team. To complete these DIY stone rings you only need two jewelry supplies and a few tools. Simply wrap jewelry wire around any of our semi precious stone beads to create an easy and super wearable fashion statement. Wear one of these DIY stone rings by themselves or layer them with other ready to wear rings. Read on to find the step by step instructions and the supplies needed to make your own stone ring jewelry.
- Darice 24 Gauge Silver Plated Wire
- Darice Semi Precious Stone Beads (Jasper, Rose Quartz and Sodalite were used in this tutorial.)
- Darice Ring Sizer
- Darice Side Cutter Jewelry Pliers
Step 2. Wrap the wire tightly around the ring sizer 5-6 times. Pull it off and wrap excess wire around the ring base to secure.
Step 4. Continue wrapping both wire ends (that you attached the stone bead with) around the base of the stone and slightly up the sides of the stone.
The skill level for this jewelry project is intermediate. Some prior jewelry making experience may be helpful to complete the tutorial but it is not necessary. Expect to spend around 1 hour working on these DIY stone rings.
