If there’s anything else that I love more than jewelry…it’s jewelry storage. With just a couple supplies, you can whip up an offbeat edgy DIY jewelry box to house your baubles. This is also a great beginner project if you aren’t DIY savvy. Sometimes, simple is best! Keep reading to see how I made this studded DIY jewelry box.
Studded DIY Jewelry Box Supplies:
- Darice Wood Purse Box (11.5 x 8.5 inches)
- Black Acrylic Paint
- Foam Paint Brush
- Super Glue
- Flat Pyramid Stud Slider Beads in Bronze (3-4 packs)
- Black Felt
- Hot Glue Gun
Step 1: Protect your work surface with scrap paper or newspaper. Open up the wooden box and begin painting the outside, with the inside facing down.
Step 12: “Fluff up” each felt roll as needed.
Step 17: Here’s the fun part…adding your rings! I left the front portion open for the daintier rings that would otherwise get lost in the sea of felt. I also plan on adding my daintier earrings to this section, too.
My vanity is so much more organized with this DIY jewelry box. Enjoy!
