Whether you want to bring luck or just bling to your life, you can do it with this lucky horseshoe bracelet project. It’s very easy to make, even if you’ve never made jewelry before. This super easy lucky horseshoe jewelry project will take you less than fifteen minutes from start to finish.
Lucky Horseshoe Bracelet Supplies:
- Darice Silver Plated Horseshoe Charms (2 packages).
- Darice Silver Jump Rings.
- Darice Magnetic Jewelry Clasp.
- Darice Flat Nose Pliers.
- Tape Measure.
Step one. Attach pairs of horseshoe charms with jump rings.
Note: To open a jump ring, hold one side of the ring with pliers, and gently pull the other side of the ring toward you. The jump ring should look like a tiny Slinky that is being stretched, NOT like an open O with a gap in it.
Slip both horseshoe charms onto the ring, with front sides of charms facing each other. Close the jump ring by holding one side of the jump ring with pliers and bringing the open side flush with the other side until you hear the ends click together.
Step two. Join the pairs of horseshoes together into groups of four horseshoes, using the same technique as in step one. Make sure the charms you slip onto the connecting jump ring have their front sides facing each other as you.
Link enough horseshoe charms together to make a chain long enough to go around your wrist (about 7″ or 7.5″). The magnetic clasp will add another half inch.
Step three. With a jump ring, attach the magnetic clasp to each end of the horseshoe chain.
Your lucky horseshoe bracelet is done!
You can even use these fun lucky horseshoe charms to make a horseshoe necklace. Happy Crafting!
