Step 1. Download and print off the lucky clover template, trace it onto your shrink plastic and cut. Use scissors to cut the clover, the circle, and the scalloped circle. For the scallop circle’s details, you may want to use a really small hole punch or an x-acto knife.
Step 2. Sand the circle with fine-grit sandpaper in a circular motion.
Step 3. Color your circle with your color of choice – I chose a lively spring green for mine. Be mindful that whatever color you have on will get darker when the paper shrinks.
Step 4. Shrink your cutouts with a heat gun, or bake them in the oven according to your package’s instructions. I like using a heat gun so I can do over the areas that aren’t completely flat.
Step 5. You may notice that the circle won’t shrink uniformly – it will turn into a slightly oval shape. But don’t worry, it’s part of the fun!
Step 6. Attach your cutouts together with some super glue. I used a skinny stick to help me apply mine on the circles.
Step 7. If you find the holes are too small to fit a jump ring through, re-heat both the front and back sides of the area and use a pin to widen the hole.
Step 8. Attach a jump ring onto the hole, and use another jump ring to connect the earring hook and your previous jump ring.
Do these steps for the other lucky clover earring and you are done!
Aren’t they too easy to make for such cute earrings? Hope you have fun and some luck comes your way!
