Looking ahead to Valentine’s Day and wanting to offer candy-free classroom treats to your kids’ friends? Today I’m sharing a super cute idea for putting together bracelet-making kits complete with lots of bead “gems” and free bag topper Valentine printables. Inexpensive, creative and fun, these Valentine printables are sure to be a hit with children of all ages. And they allow kids to add some creativity to their Valentine’s Day celebrations!
You’re a Real Gem! Bead Kit with Valentine Printables Supplies:
- “You’re a Gem” Valentine Bag Toppers << Click link for FREE download.
- White Cardstock.
- Darice 3 x 4.75″ Cellophane Treat Bags.
- Darice Assorted Pony Beads.
- Darice Heart Pony Beads.
- White Elastic Cord.
- Scissors.
- Stapler.
Print the bag topper Valentine printables onto white cardstock and cut each one out with a paper trimmer or scissors.
Write the sender’s name onto each topper. Fold the toppers in half lengthwise and set aside.
Fill the treat bags with a handful of assorted beads. Add an 8 inch length of the elastic cord to each bag.
Fold the top edge of each bag under by about 1 inch. Slip one of the folded toppers over the folded edge, and staple along each outside edge to secure.
In no time at all you will have a passel of creative, fun valentines to hand out to classroom friends, neighbors and more!
I love that these bead kit Valentine printables are not only unique and incredibly affordable, but they also allow kids to be creative and show their personal flair!
To make a bracelet from the kit, simply slip the beads onto the elastic cord, and then tie in a knot to secure. (Children might need to trim away a bit of the cording for a proper fit.)
I hope you’re inspired to think outside of the (candy) box this year when it comes to Valentine’s Day goodies!
