A few weeks ago, before the kids headed back to school, TOMS Austin hosted the last Crafts and Cocktails with Jen of the summer. We went out with a crafty bang using the Darice Signed, Sealed & Remembered collection of jewelry findings. This collection of ready to create custom memory jewelry consists of bottle caps, glass tiles, frame charms and more. These charm creations can be made into necklaces, bracelets, earrings, key chains and magnets. Kids, moms, college students and even travelers who spoke no English left with handfuls of fun bottle cap DIY charm jewelry.
Bottle Cap DIY Jewelry Supplies:
- Darice Signed, Sealed, & Remembered Collection – Bottle Caps, Epoxy Domes, Assorted Jewelry Findings.
- Cord or String (for creating your bracelet or necklace).
- Darice 1 inch Circle Paper Punch.
- Scrapbook Paper, Original Artwork or Photos.
- Glue.
Girls Rock Camp of Austin was set up alongside Dripping Springs Vodka. Free cocktails (and lemonade for the littles) with all the tips going to support a great cause.
Since this was the last event before the kids went back to school people were encouraged to bring their mini crafters. The kids had as much fun as the adults making bottle cap DIY jewelry and magnets. My daughter brought her own custom art to put inside necklaces and the key chain she made for me.
This bottle cap DIY jewelry could not be easier to make. All the crafters needed was a 1″ paper punch, scrapbook paper, glue and the Signed, Sealed and Remembered components. Then all you needed to do is punch out a 1″ circle from your patterned scrapbook paper, artwork or photos to insert in to your bottle cap or frame charm.
Can’t wait to see what the crafters come up with at our next Crafts and Cocktails with Jen. If you’re in Austin, stop by and say hello. In the meantime check out more fun craft ideas and projects at jenniferperkins.com.
