Today on the blog I’m sharing heart shaped wreath ideas to make for Valentine’s Day. I love decorating the house for Valentine’s Day, but I wanted to make a wreath that I was able to keep up all year long and not look too Valentine-y in the house.
I’ve been wanting to make a heart succulent wreath for awhile now, especially after I made my Clay Pot Succulent wreath last year. Since Valentine’s Day is coming up I thought it was the perfect opportunity! Let’s get started!
Step 1. When I started this first step I just tucked the moss in the wire wreath. I then realized the moss would not stay in place easily. So I pulled out my “handy dandy” floral wire and wrapped it around the wreath. It worked great!
Step 2. Next let’s add our moss into the wreath. This step is SUPER simple, I just started tucking the moss into the wire wreath. When we add our succulents into the wreath that will help keep the moss in place.
I wrapped the floral wire around the succulents, I made sure to leave enough floral wire so that once I insert the succulents I can start wrapping the wire around the wreath. This will help keep the succulent and moss in place as well.
