Thank heavens spring is almost here! I am so ready for April showers and May flowers. Using greenery is a big trend in home decor right now and there’s no question why! It looks so fresh yet neutral. Darice has so many incredible options in the greenery department. I wanted to put together a project some DIY spring door decor that you could easily make or even customize to your style utilizing greenery.
Darice also has florals! Spring should always incorporate some sort of flowers in my book, so I added little touches of baby’s breath to break up the green just a bit. The added variation of color in the flocked stems also helps give some interest to this DIY spring door decor.
DIY Spring Door Decor Supplies:
- Darice Flocked Greenery
- Darice Baby’s Breath
- Floral Wire Cutters
- Darice Eucalyptus Spray
- Darice Foam Wreath Form
I then cut off little sprigs of baby’s breath and tucked them through the wreath. I wanted to keep it really minimalist with the flowers but you could easily make this floral heavy if you prefer that look!

I don’t think style has to be sacrificed for price! I love creating DIYs that don’t look homemade and look deceptively expensive. Practical and Pretty began because I said ‘I could make that!’ so often that I decided to finally do it, and document my process.
