Fairy Garden Cloche Decor

I love the fairy garden trend!  I came up with this fairy garden cloche DIY project as a new spin on the classic fairy garden.  It is a quick and easy project and I even added a solar light.  Light up the night on your porch or patio with this craft idea.  Add the miniatures of your choice to personalize this idea as well.

Fairy Garden Cloche DIY Decor Supplies:

  • Thick Log Slice
  • Cleveland Vintage Lighting Glass Open Bottom Jar
  • Moss Variety Pack
  • Darice Mini Fairy Door
  • Darice Green Gnome Figurines
  • Solar Powered Mason Jar Lid
  • Darice Mini Turtles
  • Darice White Picket Fence
  • Scissors
  • Darice Hot Glue Gun

Begin this fairy garden cloche DIY project by adding the fence and door to the jar with a bit of moss.  Use a little hot glue to secure everything in place.  You can trim the white picket fence with scissors.  TIP:  You can find a wide variety of fairy garden miniatures on Darice so you can customize your fairy garden cloche to your tastes.

Then add some more moss and a few more miniatures to the wood slice where the mason jar will sit.  Use hot glue again to secure your pieces.  I added a wide variety of moss types on my version.

Fairy-Garden-Cloche-DIY-Decor-Darice-4Add the mason jar cloche to the wood slice and screw on the solar light lid.  You can add additional pieces if you wish from the top of the jar or adjust anything that may fall when putting the two pieces together.

I love looking at a cute fairy garden anytime of the year but this cloche DIY project is especially great for summer.

When it gets dark enough, the solar light will turn on and illuminate your fairy garden.  This fairy garden cloche DIY project is a fun way to bring some of these cute miniatures into your home.

I love the idea of the solar light attached to the fairy garden. It’s such a charming project and would make a wonderful decoration for a summer porch.
