I love displaying photos and art throughout my home, and am always looking for new and fun ways to add more color and pattern to our walls. Today I’m going to share with you a fun, easy, and inexpensive way to incorporate more color into your home decor with this DIY photo frame gallery hanging!
It was love at first sight when I saw these David Tutera frames. They come in a pack of four and have a pretty whitewashed, distressed look to them. They are great because they are an inexpensive way to spruce up an empty spot on your walls in your home. You can add pictures, artwork, patterned paper, or anything really to these frames and they would look great!
DIY Photo Frame Gallery Hanging Supplies:
- David Tutera Whitewashed Distressed Picture Frames
- White Bridal Sash
- Glue Gun
- Photos or Pattern Paper/Embellishments
Step 1. Remove the whitewashed frames from their plastic packaging.
Open up the back of each frame, and insert your 3.5 x 5″ photos or pattern paper that you would like to display inside each of the 4 frames. I used a black piece of pattern paper with white polka dots, put it inside the frame, and then added chipboard stickers to the outside of the glass for some extra color and dimension. Close the frames back up.
Step 3. Place the ribbon on a table or the floor, and decide where you want each frame to be placed on the ribbon, and how far apart you want each frame spaced. Use a glue gun to glue the frames onto the ribbon, and use something besides your fingers (like a piece of cardboard) to press down on the ribbon and glue. Let cool.
