Fairy gardens are a craft trend that involve creating tiny garden landscapes with wee little fairy-sized accessories. Bring fairy gardens inside your home with today’s DIY fairy garden decor project. Fairy gardens become whimsical bookends in this quick and easy home decor project. The thing that will take you the longest is deciding which cute fairy garden accessories to use on your bookends.
DIY Fairy Garden Decor Supplies:
- 2 Small Paver Stones
- Darice Preserved Sheet Moss
- Darice Fairy Garden Accessories
- Darice Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
- Darice Green Craft Felt
- Darice Scissors
For this DIY fairy garden decor project, you will need to pick up two small paver stones at your local yard and garden store. I chose 6 x 6″ square pavers, which cost less than a dollar each. The paver stones provide enough weight to easily prop the books up for this bookend project. The flat surface is ideal for creating a cute little fairy garden scene.
Step 1. Trace the paver stones onto the green craft felt with a marker, and cut out.
I used Darice mini stepping stones, Darice mini resin hedgehogs, and Darice fairy garden mini mushrooms. There are so many options available, so make this DIY fairy garden decor scene your own!
