Hiya, creatives! I don’t know about you, but after Christmas, I want to keep New Year’s Eve as simple as possible. I haven’t dressed up and hit the town in years. Ha! I would much rather be home celebrating with my kids and stretchy pants! Even though NYE is simple at our house, I still try to make it special. These little favor bags with my free New Years printables are perfect for celebrating at home. Fill them with goodies, noise makers, sparklers…. whatever treat you want! They make great little gift bags for friends and co-workers too.
New Years printables 2018 supplies:
- Darice Mini Paper Bags in White
- Blue Darice Baker’s Twine
- Gray Glitter Cardstock
- Free Printable Download HERE
- Scissors
- Adhesive
To make your own NYE treat bags, first print the free download with a color printer. I would suggest using white heavy cardstock or photo paper.
Next, use scissors or a paper trimmer to cut them down to size. Each tag should measure about 2.5″ x 3.5″ inches.
Adhere your cut tag to your glitter paper, and use your scissors to cut around the edges leaving about 1/4″.
Glue your tag to your white goodie bags with a permanent glue or tape runner.
Fill your bag with treats, then add some decorative tissue paper and baker’s twine.
Gotta love that glitter paper sparkle! It’s a must for New Year’s Eve, don’t you think?
Make as many treat bags as you like. Those fabulous little Darice goodie bags come in packs of 24, so I had plenty to make some for our party, and to gift to friends as well.
You can easily customize your goodie bags in different colors. Turquoise is my favorite, but any bright color would look great!
Don’t you just love how simple printables can make the holidays? And with a few supplies from Darice, you will have everything you need to make your party a hit. Even if it’s at home in your comfy pants. 😉
XOXOXO
