I’m absolutely in love with the fur wreath trend we’ve been seeing everywhere lately. There’s just something so glamorous and posh about it! Unfortunately, most of them have ritzy price tags to match so I’m left with no other alternative but to create one of my own. This fur and glitter DIY winter wreath comes together easily and can be customized with different faux fur types or glitter to match your existing holiday decor. Bring on the glam!
- Darice White Faux Fur Trim (6 packs)
- Darice Floral Pins
- 12″ Foam Wreath Form
- Darice Wood Cutout Deer
- White Paint
- Darice Hot Glue Gun
- Mod Podge
- Darice Extra Fine Silver Glitter
- Darice Iridescent Mesh Ribbon
Step 1. Use the floral pins to secure one end of fur trim to the back of the wreath. Wrap around the wreath until you reach the other end, secure with another floral pin and begin wrapping with another strip of fur. You will use 6 packages of the fur trim. Complete until entire wreath is covered, trim off excess fur.
Step 5. Glue bow to the wreath at the base of the deer cut out and hang your glamorous DIY winter wreath to enjoy!
I’m a fan of simple and modern wreaths so this is all I did with my fur and glitter DIY winter wreath. You could totally add additional embellishments if you’d like. I think these metallic silver berries would have been a lovely touch as well!
