Coastal Holiday DIY Tree Decor

Simple coastal holiday trees . . . This easy Christmas decor project takes only minutes to make, and can be customized to match any holiday scheme!

If you know me then you know I love decorating every holiday with a coastal flair. I can’t help myself.  Last year I started turning my home into a Coastal Christmas.  So this year I really needed to start adding some more coastal Christmas touches to the house.

If coastal’s not your thing, take the starfish away and add some colorful garland!  The possibilities are endless with a project like this, and you can keep it up all winter long!

HOLIDAY COASTAL TREE SUPPLIES:

  • Darice Tin Christmas Pitcher
  • Darice Mixed Pine Tree with Wood Base
  • Red Ribbon
  • Darice Red Toy Truck with Tree Ornament
  • Floral Wire
  • Mini Christmas Ornament Balls
  • Small Starfish

I was so excited when I found these tin Christmas pitchers on the Darice website.  I created my whole project around them, they just looked so pretty!

This is such a simple project to make, you’ll have it done in no time.. For a POP of color add your ribbon around the tin.  I just tied it in place, to easily change for another holiday idea later on.

I used some floral wire to attach the mini ornaments to my tree.  I LOVE using floral wire when decorating my tree every year.  The ornaments never fall off.

To finish off my look I added my starfish for the perfect coastal touch!

I know I’m partial because I made it, but I absolutely LOVE it! These would look great on the table for a centerpiece or on a mantle.

You can even add some battery operated mini lights to give an extra sparkle! I can’t wait to start decorating the house for Christmas, and these are going to fit right in!

When do you start decorating for Christmas? I usually wait until after Thanksgiving, but I might start early this year!
