This Christmas season, you may be seeking an easy kids Christmas craft idea for a class party or a holiday get together and we have you covered! This kids reindeer project makes up some super easy ornaments and only requires some hot glue, clothespins, and paint! Check out how easy this reindeer project is to make!!
Reindeer Project Supplies:
- Flat Wooden Clothespins (3 per ornament)
- Darice Hot Glue Gun
- Brown, Red, and White Paint
- Paint Brush
- Spare Felt or Fabric
- Small Decorations (as desired)
Step 1. Paint three clothespins brown. Two of the clothespins will face downward (with knobs at the top). The other one will face up with knob at the bottom. Paint the knob facing downward red to make Rudolph’s nose.
Step 2. Hot glue your ornaments together as pictured above.
Step 3. Add a small strip of felt over the front of the ornament and then secure with hot glue on the back. We also added a little sprig of berries and a green bow to our reindeer.
Step 4. Use twine or ribbon to create a loop, then hot glue onto the back of the ornament to turn it into a hanging ornament.
And there you have it…a super easy Christmas craft idea that can be made inexpensively in minutes! Enjoy! Check out this snow globe ornaments DIY tutorial for more fun holiday crafting!
