Pair them with an oven mitt and some other kitchen goodies for a complete gift that any home chef will love! This also makes a great package to keep on hand for those “emergency” gift situations.
- Darice Ceramic Square Tiles
- Adhesive Stencils
- Craft Paint
- Mod Podge Dishwasher-Safe Formula
- Paint Brushes
- Darice Adhesive Felt Pads
Once your entire stencil has been filled in, remove the stencil from the tile and allow your project to dry completely. Then add a few coats of Mod Podge Dishwasher- Safe Formula to your tiles. Follow all instructions on the bottle as far as how many coats and timing in between coats. You will also have to cure your DIY trivet for 28 days before actually putting in the dishwasher.
You will also want to add felt pads to the bottom of each DIY trivet to protect your counters. Once completed, wrap up your painted tile trivets with an oven mitt and maybe a dish towel as a great gift for those that love being in the kitchen. The tile can be hand washed or run through the top rack of the dishwasher.
