I love making complex and intricate greeting cards but sometimes, due to time constraints or the preferences of the recipient, you just need a quick and easy card that will get the job done! I absolutely love the simple and modern feel to these embossed Father’s Day card ideas. They come together in under 20 minutes and are sure to get a chuckle with their silly puns. The perfect way to celebrate the amazing fathers in your life!

Step 1. Use your embossing machine to emboss the cardstock with your desired imprint. I used these three specific embossing designs for my Father’s Day card ideas but Darice has tons of embossing folder options to choose from!
Step 2. Once you’ve embossed the design onto the paper, use the Sand It tool to gently sand the raised portions of the embossed pattern. Remove excess paper dust with the oiled cloth included in the set. What a difference this step makes!
Step 5. Use the double-sided tape to adhere the message tags to the bottom portion of the embossed papers. I left enough space so that you could fold the message tags over to the back of the papers and stick.
Here’s another embossed DIY Father’s Day card for those dads who love motorcycles!
