Transform a wood bottle stand into a beautiful rustic red, white and blue wood bottle vase with this simple 1 step DIY! This easy patriotic craft is perfect for displaying flowers, straws and much more!
Hello there Darice friends! Its Lydi back from Lydi Out Loud and I’m excited to celebrate the kick off of BBQ season with you, which we could also call red, white and blue season! Here in the U.S. we start with with Memorial Day, then on to the 4th of July and rounding out with Labor Day; these patriotic holidays decorated with all things red, white and blue (and full of yummy cookout fare!) act as the perfect bookends to a summer of celebration.
The easy patriotic craft is a perfect quick DIY (I’m talking 1 step quick!) to add some patriotic decor to any summer party or for your every day summer decor.
Easy Patriotic Craft Bottle Vase Supplies:
- Darice Wood Bottle Stand
- Assorted Red, White and Blue Ribbon (this Patriotic Darice Ribbon or Darice Baker’s Twine would work great!)
- Darice Scissors (not shown)
- Darice Hot Glue Gun (not shown)
Directions
Cut 4″ pieces of each ribbon to fit around the twine necks of the wood bottle vases. Secure the ribbons around the neck of the vases (in the center of the twine) with a couple of dots of hot glue. Allow to dry.
And that’s it for this easy patriotic craft! Your rustic red, white and blue wood bottle vase makes a beautiful display for flowers and would also be a fun vessel to display straws. What other uses can you think of to display in these patriotic vases?
