- Darice Decorative Copper Canisters (3)
- 4″ x 1″ Styrofoam Discs (3 packages)
- Darice 4″ x 6″ American Flags (24)
- Darice Star Shaped Pony Beads (Optional)
These fun DIY Fourth of July centerpieces were a cinch to put together and they are perfect for any patriotic holiday. And if you don’t live in the US, you can sub out your own flag for your own patriotic centerpiece!
To make these you will begin by placing 1 full package of Styrofoam discs into each of your copper canisters. You don’t need to glue them together, but you can if you prefer to. But they will sit in the canisters pretty well.
If you want to cover up your foam, the star shaped pony beads are a great way to do that. They add a bit more patriotic love to the centerpiece, and it also gives the centerpieces a bit more weight to resist falling over when a strong wind comes along! These are of course optional, but I think they are really fun!
