Add this BBQ DIY condiment holder to your next summer party. The simple red, white, and blue theme makes this one perfect for the Fourth of July as well. Are you planning a cook out in your back yard? Grab a few supplies and whip up this condiment bar in minutes!
BBQ DIY Condiment Holder Supplies:
- Mason Jars (4)
- Darice Bandanas (in the colors of your choice)
- Darice Rectangle Wood Container
- Marker
- Darice Metal Rimmed White Tags
- Hot Glue and Glue Gun
- Scissors
Start by cutting your bandanas into pieces. I cut each into four pieces then trimmed off the edges. Then cut those four squares into triangles as shown below.
Wrap those triangles around your mason jar and use hot glue to secure into place. Write the name of your condiments on the tags and add those to the jars as well.
Add four jars to the wood rectangle piece. The jars fit perfectly in place. I alternated between red and white bandanas for my project. You could actually make this DIY condiment holder in a wide variety of colors to match any party theme.
Then just fill each mason jar with the condiment of your choice. Add in some spoons or knives and your BBQ DIY condiment holder is complete.
I love adding fun decor like this to a buffet style party. It really adds to the theme of the party and your guests will love adding their condiments from these fun mason jars. Don’t want to add in condiments? Try this same idea for forks, spoons, knives, and napkins. Perhaps you are having a sundae bar? Add in your toppings. There are so many parties that this project will work perfectly for!
Will you be adding a BBQ DIY condiment holder to your next party? Remember the Fourth of July is just around the corner so it is time to start planning now!
This patriotic mason jar craft is another fun way to display utensils for your summer party or BBQ!

Such a fun idea and so much prettier than having the bottles on the table.

What a great idea to have a condiment bar, it looks so much better then the bottles. I will be featuring this Friday at the #HomeMattersParty
Love, love, love the idea of tying the bandanas around the mason jars. That’s so cool Angie. What a neat way to server condiments
