- Darice 12″ Cone Treat Bags
- Darice Light Green 3/16″ Curling Ribbon
- Orange Jelly Beans
- 2″ Round Paper Punch
- Hole punch
To make more “child-size” carrots, I recommend beginning by cutting off 3-4″ off of the top of the cone bag. (Of course, you can also leave them at their full size for larger Easter treats.)
Fill the cone bags about 2/3 full with the jelly beans, and then twist the top closed, as shown.
Cut 5 or 6 strands of ribbon that are each about 8″ long. Group these together and tie them around the twisted portion of the carrot. Use scissors to curl the ribbon, working from the base of the ribbon and outward.
