- Darice Unfinished Divided Wood Crate
- Gray Stain (or stain in the color of your choice)
- Darice Fall Pumpkin Bush (2)
Start this easy DIY centerpiece project by staining the crate in the color of your choice. Here we used a gray stain for a weathered look. Remove the rope handles before starting to stain. Then brush on the stain with a paintbrush, allow to sit a few minutes, and wipe away any excess with a rag. Be sure to stain all surfaces for a more finished look. Allow to dry completely before continuing.
Add pieces of rope back to both sides once dry. Thread through a length of rope, tie a knot, then thread it through the second hole. Add a second knot then trim to length with scissors. Repeat for the opposite side.
Then just start adding in pieces from the fall pumpkin bushes to the inside of the crate. There is no need for any glue as the centerpiece will be fine without any. Just arrange the pieces from both bushes inside your crate.
Then add your easy DIY centerpiece to the center of your Thanksgiving table. This is one easy centerpiece to make! Whip it up now and display it in your home all the way up to the big weekend. Then, after Thanksgiving is over, be sure to change up your tray for the seasons.
This DIY fall centerpiece would also make an attractive accent to your Thanksgiving table!
