This DIY succulent pumpkin centerpiece marries the colors of fall with the trendiness of succulents, for a very quick and easy craft project that can be made in less than ten minutes. Use this fall centerpiece as seasonal decor, or as part of your Thanksgiving table decor. Because this centerpiece uses faux plants, it can be saved and used year after year.
DIY succulent pumpkin centerpiece supplies:
- Faux Pumpkin
- Darice Faux Succulents
- Darice Tinsel Stem
- Ribbon
- Pencil
Step 1. With a pencil, poke a hole in the top of the pumpkin, off center and next to the stem.
Step 2. Insert one faux succulent stem into the pumpkin.
Push the succulent stem all the way down into the pumpkin.
Step 3. Poke two more holes into the pumpkin with the pencil, and insert the remaining two succulent stems into the holes.
Step 4. Fold a tinsel stem in half, and knot two pieces of ribbon onto the bend of the tinsel stem.
Step 5. Tie a bow with the ribbon, and then twist the tinsel stem around itself to create a floral pick.
Step 6. Poke a hole into the front of the succulent pumpkin centerpiece with the pencil, then insert the bow pick you made into the hole.
