Hello friends, I hope your week is going well! Today I’m sharing an extra SPOOKY Halloween DIY cat wreath you can make with your kids this season. This is a great project for the kids to work on. You just need a few supplies to get started and in no time you’ll have a spooky craft to decorate with! Enjoy!
Let’s get crafting!
- Darice Black Fur Trim
- Foamies Cat Eye Stickers
- Foam Wreath
- Darice Black Felt Sheet
- Darice Black Chenille Stems
Step 1. Let’s start off our DIY cat wreath by wrapping our foam wreath form with the craft fur. We added a touch of hot glue to help keep the fur in place, then we started wrapping it around the foam wreath. I used a total of three packages of fur for this step.
We used a little felt and cut out some triangles for the ears. Add a touch of hot glue to the bottom of the ears and firmly place them on the wreath.
They’re stickers so all your have to do is stick them on the wreath! NO GLUE!
This craft is perfect for the kid that loves to decorate their own space for Halloween! I know my 6 year old LOVES to decorate his room for any holiday. He takes after his Mama for sure! Just use a length of coordinating ribbon to tie around the top of the wreath and hang with.
Thanks again for stopping by and I hope you are inspired to get started on your Halloween projects now! For another fun Halloween decoration, check out this funny mummy craft wreath!
