Darice had the pleasure of attending the SNAP conference last week. For those who are not familiar, SNAP is a 3 day event held in Salt Lake City, Utah each year. The conference brings together the blogging community. Everyone from lifestyle bloggers to arts & crafts DIYers to home remodelers gather to share ideas, take classes, network and have fun!
This was Darice’s 3rd year as a sponsor for the SNAP conference. As a sponsor, you get the chance to meet and network with all of the bloggers attending the event. It’s a great way to connect with these influencers so that they can build a relationship with your brand or business. There are so many ways bloggers can collaborate with your brand and getting to speak in person really initiates those relationships.
Our sponsor booth this year showcased the adult coloring trend! Who doesn’t love to color?! Those who stopped by our booth had a chance to sit and color specially designed postcards that they could send home from SNAP or have as a keepsake. We loved chatting with the bloggers while they stopped to color! Attendees also enjoyed coloring on our over-sized coloring wall. It was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the event to stop and relax with some coloring.
Darice also sponsored a candy bar table at the event. This was a popular stop at the conference for bloggers fueling up to get through their daily classes! Our table featured a teaser for our new line coming out from I SPY DIY. We’re excited to partner with this popular blog to bring a new line of crafting tools and supplies with a trendy twist. Along with their candy, bloggers got a chance to take home a piece of the new line, super fun patterned washi tape! The hasthtag patterned tape was one of the favorites! We had a chance to connect with bloggers who were excited to work with the new I SPY DIY line.
SNAP featured two dinners during the event that were sponsored by Chinet and Michaels. Chinet was the overall conference sponsor as well. We had the pleasure of listening to some wonderful speakers during these dinners. At the Chinet dinner we got to hear an inspirational talk about entrepreneurship and following your intuition from Cupcake Wars winner, Megan Faulkner Brown. Megan is the founder of the Sweet Tooth Fairy bakery in Salt Lake City.
At the Michaels dinner we had the pleasure of listening to a panel of ladies from the Michaels Makers team. This group of bloggers, designers and industry influencers shared tips, anecdotes and stories from their blogging careers. It was great to hear the advice they had for their fellow bloggers.
Other sponsors at the SNAP conference included Floracraft, DecoArt, RYOBI Tools, Udderly Smooth and Lindt Chocolates, to name just a few of the many diverse contributors! It was great to see bloggers interacting with a variety of companies and brands. They also loved trying out new product and getting to take samples with them.
So for all you bloggers out there who were curious about SNAP, I hope we shed a little light on the conference. It’s a wonderful event and opportunity for creative entrepreneurs to grow their social influence, learn new skills and build lasting friendships and business relationships!
Thanks to all of the bloggers who stopped by our booth to chat. It was great meeting all of you! Also, if you’re a blogger and would like to sign up for our blogger network, you can do so HERE.
