We are finally recovered from the amazing SNAP Conference so we thought we’d share a fun little recap with you!
If you’re not familiar, you’re probably thinking, “What is SNAP”? It’s a three-day conference where 500+ creative bloggers come together to learn, network, and get inspired. Sounds pretty amazing, right? It definitely was!
First, we had to get there! The Darice team took off a few days early and traveled from our headquarters in Cleveland, OH to beautiful Salt Lake City.
(This photo was taken on the way home from Utah, but when we landed in Salt Lake, it was a sunny and gorgeous 75 degrees. We were loving it!)
You can’t go to Salt Lake City without visiting the beautiful and blossoming Temple Square…
After a bit of sightseeing, it was time to get to work. The conference was held in the lovely Little America Hotel. This hotel is amazing, guys!
The outside is quaint but when you step inside, you’re greeted with a grand lobby filled with fireplaces and upscale furnishings, and restaurants throughout the entire first floor.
We got busy and started setting up our #PartyWithDarice booth.
Since Darice offers over 80,000 products, we knew we needed a main focus for our sponsor booth and since David Tutera was coming (more on that later!), we decided a party theme had to be it. Besides, everyone loves cute party decor, right?
We wanted our booth to be bright, colorful, cute and interactive.
We had crate units on both sides of our booth featuring fun little DIY party projects and decor made using Darice products.
From our new Cleveland Vintage Lighting metal marquee letters (coming soon to a store near you!) to a sequined paper mache ampersand, to cute little David Tutera favor bottles, we tried to feature a little of everything.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth! We truly loved meeting all the new faces and catching up with old friends.

Our favorite part of the booth was the photo backdrop made with half of the new Core’dinations Party Mixers paper rosettes and half handmade rosettes.

We made some awesome handmade photobooth props and let the attendees have fun taking pics!

After photobooth pics, we made these super cute clothespin photo holders.

All made with Darice product, of course! 😉

We were Friday night’s dinner sponsor and had a blast! We created these super cute faux succulent centerpieces to add a little handmade touch to the tables.
The best part of dinner? David Tutera! Yes, our good friend David made a special trip out to Salt Lake City to speak to all of the wonderful SNAP attendees.

Words cannot explain how awesome David is. Engaging, entertaining, sincere, hilarious, honest, down to Earth, brilliant and so, so much more.
After an audience request, he even sang us a witty ditty – a homage to his first job as a singing telegram!

Overall, SNAP 2015 was amazing! From the venue, the bloggers, parties, sponsor booths, and classes – everything was executed perfectly. If you are a creative blogger, we highly recommend SNAP as a must-go conference!
We hope to see you next April in Salt Lake City!
