I am thrilled to announce the Savvy Shopkeeper Retail Podcast recently launched and Darice is the exclusive sponsor of Season 1!
You might be wondering, “What is a podcast?” It’s a series of spoken, audio episodes, often focused on a particular topic or theme. You can subscribe to podcasts on a phone app so you receive an update when a new episode is published and it’s FREE.
Savvy Shopkeeper’s mission is to help women retail business owners of all kinds to manage their time better and be profitable. The show description says it best:
Independent retailers wear so many hats! Each week join fellow small business retailer, Kathy Cruz, as she teaches women retail business owners how to manage and market their businesses efficiently so they can spend time doing other things they love. Whether you are a maker with an online shop, a brick and mortar store owner, sell your products at local markets or you’re a booth vendor in a mall – this podcast is for you!
As a retail business owner myself, I know how busy retailers can be, so the episodes will be approximately 20 minutes long. Episodes will be published every Thursday and will cover a specific topic that will help you run your retail business.
The first 3 episodes of my retail podcast are available now!
#1 – What to expect from the Savvy Shopkeeper Retail Podcast
#2 – How much do I need to make in annual sales in order to pay myself?
#3 – Instagram Blueprint for Shopkeepers
I personally find a ton of value in podcasts. I feel like I can connect better with the podcast host because I can HEAR their voice and tone. It also saves me time because I can multitask! I’m not glued to my phone reading. I listen in the car or I listen with buds in my ear while I handle chores or tasks at home. I also listen while I’m out walking or exercising!
When I decided to shift from blogging to podcasting, I knew I wanted to partner with a sponsor that values educating retail business owners as much as I do, and Darice was the perfect fit.
Darice is just as dedicated to helping small business owners as I am! How does Darice support your business?
- Darice offers one of the lowest minimum order amounts I’ve seen. At $75, it makes it affordable for makers, e-commerce store owners, and brick and mortar retailers to place an order.
- Darice offers two Customer Program options: The Freight Included (FI) program builds shipping costs into the item pricing, and the Distributor Pricing (DP) program is geared towards those who have their own freight carrier or prefer to pick up orders at the Darice warehouse.
- Darice has a team of bloggers who are dedicated to educating retail business owners too! There’s so much valuable content on the Darice blog with a category specifically for small business owners!
- A newsletter that notifies you when new blog posts are published. Click here, scroll to the bottom off the page and sign up.
I am excited to share that Darice is offering a special offer for Savvy Shopkeeper Retail Podcast listeners. It’s an offer you won’t find anywhere else, so be sure to listen to the podcast episodes for the special code!
The retail podcast reviews have been great!
I’m excited to record many more episodes in the future, ranging in topics from financial management, social media marketing, business owner mindset, time management, how to profit, and SO MUCH more.
