Paint the pallet for your welcome DIY sign with white acrylic paint. While the paint is still wet, using a damp rag, wipe off the excess paint to give a weathered look. Lightly brush the edges with grey paint.
Mix a small amount of black acrylic paint with the blue acrylic paint to achieve a darker blue. Apply the mixed paint to the H, M and E. Allow to dry and lightly brush on grey acrylic paint highlights to the letter edges.
Using the acrylic paint, paint your seasonal wood shapes.
Paint the welcome sign using the acrylic paint in the paint color of your liking.
Using the wood glue, apply to the backs of the h, m, e and welcome and position on your painted pallet. Leave an appropriate space between the h and m to accommodate your painted seasonal wood pieces.
Cut approximately 1” pieces of the hook and loop tape and apply to the backs of the seasonal shapes. Whether it’s the hook of the loop to begin with all the seasonal shapes should have the same. Place the opposite piece on the pallet (one time) to easily swap out the seasons.
