Hello there, I’m Lydi and I’m so excited to hang out with you a couple times a month right here on the Darice blog! Ok new friends, I have a question for you… are you team planner or team app? I’m a big fan of the planner trend… I’ve always been a paper and checklist kind of gal and using an app just isn’t the same type of satisfaction. I’m also a big fan of all of the super fun planner clips and accessories. I recently made a travel journal and wanted to make some fun DIY planner clips to go along with it. I’m thrilled with how they turned out and can’t wait to show you how easy they are to make.
- Darice Signed, Sealed and Remembered 1″ Epoxy Domes
- Travel Doodles or Printable Clipart
- White Cardstock
- Darice Scissors
- Mod Podge
- Darice 1″ Foam Brush
- Paper Clips
- E6000 Clear Craft Adhesive
Print or draw chosen designs for travel planner clips on cardstock. The image itself should be approximately ¾” at it’s widest point to ensure it isn’t cut off. Cut around each image to form a 1″ circle.
Once the second coat of Mod Podge has completely dried, apply a small drop of craft adhesive onto the back of each dome. Let the adhesive sit for about 30 – 45 seconds to gum up a little for better grip.
If you’re a sucker for adorable planner and office accessories too, check out these DIY pom pom bookmark clips.
Thanks to Lydi from Lydi Out Loud for today’s post!
