Is there anything quite so gratifying as using craft supplies to organize your craft supplies? I think not! I just recently moved into a craft studio space and have been looking for creative and inexpensive ways to put Darice products to good use. Check out my ideas for how to organize a craft room!
How to Organize a Craft Room Supplies:
- Darice 3 inch Wooden Embroidery Hoops.
- Darice 14 inch Wooden Embroidery Hoop
- Wood & Chicken Wire Planter Box.
- Darice Wood Shadow Box.
- Darice 12 Gauge Aluminum Floral Wire.
- Darice 3/8 inch Wood Dowel Rod.
- Darice Adhesive Magnetic Roll.
- Drill and Drill Bits.
- Small Screws.
Scissor Organizer: The thing with scissors is that when you need a pair, you want it to be readily accessible immediately! I used three small embroidery hoops (just the inner hoop, save the outer one for a different project) that were easily screwed into the side of my wood table. They’re the perfect size to easily catch my three most used scissors!
Baker’s Twine Organizer: I love keeping my Darice baker’s twine out for ease of use and because all the colors look so pretty! Here’s a super easy organizer that comes together in just minutes with a shadow box, aluminum wire, and a drill. Just drill appropriately sized holes in the side of the frame, thread the aluminum wire through, and fold wire over to secure. To add baker’s wire, just unfold and remove aluminum wire, string through baker’s twine, and secure back in place. There’s plenty of space to add more twine!
Washi Tape Organizer: This has got to be one of the easiest ideas ever for how to organize a craft room for functional design! Just use a large embroidery hoop (just the outer screw hoop, save the inner hoop for a later project!) to hold and display all your beautiful Darice Washi tape. I love being able to see all the gorgeous colors!
Die Cut Organizer: I love using all of the adorable Darice craft dies but there are definitely some I use more than others. Having these magnetic strips on the cupboard door to hold my favorite nesting dies is handy! The rest (like seasonal holiday dies) I like to store in a handy magnetic carry case.
Ribbon Organizer: To make this easy ribbon holder just drill a hole through both ends of the box large enough for dowel to fit through. Add the spools to the dowel and thread ribbon through chicken wire spaces to hold. All of your ribbon is stored nicely in one place!
For another fun organizational touch, consider adding these pretty and practical glitter mason jars to your craft room to hold pens, pencils and markers. I hope you enjoyed these super easy ideas on how to organize a craft room. I can’t wait to start utilizing them in my new craft room!
