Step 1. The great thing about this homemade essential oil diffuser project is that you can totally customize it to look however you want. For the purposes of this tutorial, I’ll be showing you how to make a heart and earth out of the Darice felt wool beads but after you get the hang of it, the sky’s the limit!
To add a small heart to the white bead, just grab a tiny bit of red wool and roll it in your fingers until it’s a small thin line. Place one end at the center of the wool bead and begin piercing with the needle felting tool. Continue placing and felting with the tool until you’re happy with the look of your heart. It really is that easy!
Step 2. To make the earth bead, you pretty much repeat step 1 but with green wool on a blue bead. Don’t worry if your earth isn’t exactly precise. People will get the basic idea when they see it hanging from a distance!
