The end of the school year and Teacher Appreciation Week {May 5th-9th} are approaching fast. Send those special teachers a little token of your gratitude with my gumball mason jar teacher gifts idea. You can print the fun tags and jar toppers from this post. After that, these teacher gifts will take you about 5 minutes to assemble. Quick, easy, and cute? That is my kind of project!
Mason jar teacher gifts supplies:
- Smooth sided mason jars
- Gumballs (you will need 2 packages per jar)
- EK Tools scalloped edge punch
- Glue dots
- Twine
- Printable teacher appreciation labels
Let’s start with the tags. Click here to print your own teacher appreciation tags. Punch both a plain tag and a “BALL” tag from the sheet for each jar you are making.
One secret to perfect punches is to punch upside down as shown in the image below. You can see the image through the back and make sure it is lined up perfectly. Also, a new punch may be stiff. Punch a few times with waxed paper to get it working well.
Fill your jar with gumballs. Either all one color or layer multiple colors in the jar. Attach the “BALL” tag to the top of the jar with some glue dots. Punch a hole in the tag and tie it on with some twine.
Create one or a dozen of these super simple teacher gifts in just a few minutes. Any teacher will love this small token of appreciation.
Will you be giving a mason jar teacher gift this year? Try our version with gumballs! So simple and so cute!
