Valentine’s Day Gift Idea: Glittery DIY Perfume Bottle

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, it’s always fun to think outside the box a bit with your Valentine’s gifts. Women LOVE a good perfume, so why not dress up a simple little DIY perfume bottle, add some glitter and glam to it, and add your favorite scent. You don’t have to break the bank with your scent either! Grab your favorite Bath and Body Works scent, pour a little in, and spread the love!! See how easy these glittery DIY perfume bottle crafts are to make!!

Glittery DIY Perfume Bottle Supplies:

  • Darice Perfume Bottles
  • Darice Glitter (I used teal, gold, pink, white)
  • Mod Podge
  • Darice Foam Brush

Glittery--DIY-Perfume-Bottle-Darice-2Step one. Start by deciding where you want to apply the glitter. I chose to just do the sides of the bottles. So I applied mod podge to the sides.

Glittery--DIY-Perfume-Bottle-Darice-3Step two. Quickly, before the mod podge dries too much, I sprinkled the bottle with glitter (I used gold, clear, pink, and teal). I then set aside and let dry for a few minutes.

Glittery--DIY-Perfume-Bottle-Darice-4Step three. After dry, I then gently coated with another coat of mod podge. This helps seal the glitter on so that each time you pick it up it’s not leaving a glittery trail on your hand and around your house.

Glittery--DIY-Perfume-Bottle-Darice-5Step four. Let your top layer dry and then fill your bottles with your favorite scent!

I love the pop of pink on the one bottle, this would be so fun to make for a tween’s bedroom…while the gold bottles are PERFECT for someone like me! You could create your own scents or add to your collection with testers from the mall even!

This DIY perfume bottle is a simple, inexpensive, and fun project that’s a great way to customize an easy Valentine’s Day gift! Enjoy!

Hi Danica, The bottles vary in width, but all are approximately 2 inches tall. You can find them online here: https://www.consumercrafts.com/store/details/catalog/decor-glassware/1071-98
