Glittery DIY Perfume Bottle Supplies:
- Darice Perfume Bottles
- Darice Glitter (I used teal, gold, pink, white)
- Mod Podge
- Darice Foam Brush
Step one. Start by deciding where you want to apply the glitter. I chose to just do the sides of the bottles. So I applied mod podge to the sides.
Step two. Quickly, before the mod podge dries too much, I sprinkled the bottle with glitter (I used gold, clear, pink, and teal). I then set aside and let dry for a few minutes.
Step three. After dry, I then gently coated with another coat of mod podge. This helps seal the glitter on so that each time you pick it up it’s not leaving a glittery trail on your hand and around your house.
Step four. Let your top layer dry and then fill your bottles with your favorite scent!
I love the pop of pink on the one bottle, this would be so fun to make for a tween’s bedroom…while the gold bottles are PERFECT for someone like me! You could create your own scents or add to your collection with testers from the mall even!
This DIY perfume bottle is a simple, inexpensive, and fun project that’s a great way to customize an easy Valentine’s Day gift! Enjoy!
