Feathers are trending and everyone loves glitter so the combination of the two is a no brainer. These DIY feathers with glitter are simple to make and your kids can help too!
I pretty much love anything that is trendy and feathers are just that. Have you noticed? They are popping up everywhere and I knew it was time to add some to my home. These glitter DIY feathers are quick to make and there’s plenty of ways to display them.
GLITTER DIY FEATHERS SUPPLIES:
- Darice White Feather Quills
- Darice Extra Fine Glitter (I used Luminous, Gold, and Lime Green)
- Mod Podge
- Darice Artist Brush Set
Step One. Dip a paint brush into your glue and gently brush a thin coat onto your feather.
It really is that simple! Once my DIY feathers were dry, I gathered them together and put them in a mason jar with a ribbon tied around it. It looks super cute sitting on my kitchen table. It’s a quick centerpiece and inexpensive too, both of which are really important to me.
Each feather is unique to begin with so it becomes even more unique with the addition of glitter. No two DIY feathers will come out alike and that’s just fine! I’ve always wanted one of those feather pens and that just might be the next thing on my list.
