Fall is finally manifesting itself – it’s been getting colder and leaves are already falling. I love fall. The colorful surroundings, cold weather that’s just right, and the festivities – Thanksgiving and Halloween. While I am not big on decorating and such, I love making myself and other people small reminders of these festivities, whether it be in the form of Halloween loot bags for my siblings or a thanksgiving poster. I’ve created a simple printable you can use to make an easy DIY keychain for yourself or for friends and family for the fall/Thanksgiving season.
Fall DIY Keychain Supplies:
- Darice Bottle Caps with Loops.
- Signed, Sealed, and Remembered Clear Epoxy Domes.
- Keychain Ring with Big Clasp.
- 1″ Circle Punch.
- DIY Keychain Printables.
- Photo Paper.
Step 1. Print out the free printable (<-download it here) on photo paper.
Step 2. Take your 1″ circle punch, flip it so you can see the bottom side and remove the clear plastic cover. Center your chosen design and punch it out.
Step 4. Cover your image with a clear epoxy dome. You don’t have to glue this down as it has adhesive! Doesn’t that make this project so easy?!
Step 5. Attach your DIY keychain rings… and ta da! You are done.
Don’t want a DIY keychain? It’s easy to swap the keychain ring with a ball chain, a chain link or something else to make it a pendant.
I especially love the Give Thanks DIY keychain design. I do strive to be thankful for everything, but sometimes amidst everything happening in life, you just forget, you know? It is something that will remind me everytime I see it. Maybe you need it too, or you know someone who does. 🙂
Happy fall everyone!
