I absolutely love this time of year but I’ll be the first to admit that come New Year’s Eve, I’m a little stressed out. Somewhere between wanting to find the perfect gift and attending tons of holiday parties, I always get a little bit overwhelmed during the holiday season so I figured other people must too. That’s why I made this relaxing DIY milk bath last minute gift to give friends and family who could use a nice soak in the new year. As an added bonus, this gift is super easy to put together and even includes a free label so you don’t have the additional stress of finding one. Hope you have time to enjoy a relaxing DIY milk bath of your own!
Relaxing DIY milk bath supplies:

- Lavender Essential Oil (or any other essential oil you prefer)
- 1 cup Powdered Milk
- 1/4 cup Baking Soda
- 1/4 cup Cornstarch
- Gold Metallic Ribbon
- Peaceful New Year Gift Tags
Step 1. This tutorial is so easy that you could probably make it without any instruction but I’m going to give you really detailed pictures to prove just how easy it is to make! Begin by pulling out one of the paper milk cartons and creasing the top section down.
Step 2. Remove the protective paper backing off the adhesive strip and connect ends.
Step 3. Fold and adhere the bottom flaps in place. Place upright and push in on top flaps to create the classic “milk box” shape. Place box aside while you mix milk bath.
Step 4. Measure and mix powdered milk, cornstarch, and baking soda. Add 10-15 drops of essential oil and mix thoroughly.
Step 5. Pour entire mixture into milk carton.
Step 6. Remove paper backing from adhesive tape on the top flap and press to close.
Step 7. Print out the Peaceful New Year gift tag, trim, and staple in place with a gold ribbon.
I love that this relaxing DIY milk bath gift is so easy to make! It definitely will help decrease the stress of gift giving during the holiday season. Hope you take time to enjoy a relaxing milk bath of your own!
