I recently saw an adorable chicken wire photo frame in a craft store that I loved. That is, until I turned it over and saw the price tag! $60! Being the crafty person I am, I knew that I could make my own version of the cute photo frame for much much less, and that’s just what I did! For just a few dollars, you can make your own DIY chicken wire frame. Just follow the simple directions!
- Darice Chicken Wire Net (I used White).
- Darice Frame (Or an inexpensive one from the thrift store).
- Darice Heavy Duty Wire Cutter.
- Spray Paint.
- Staple Gun.
Step 1. To begin your DIY chicken wire frame tutorial, remove any staples that might be on the back of the photo frame, as well as any cardboard, mat board, etc.
Step 6. Add any artwork, notes, photos, or anything else that you would like to the wire on your frame. You can use clothespins, washi tape, alligator clips, etc. to hold things in place on the wire. Isn’t this pink peony magnet adorable?
It’s a great way to add a little extra color and fun to a room without spending much money. Check out this variation of a DIY chicken wire frame that you can hang faux succulents on, DIY succulent planter.
