Back-to-school time always inspires me to get organized for the upcoming year. Today, I’m sharing an easy DIY chalkboard memo board craft project that can be made in as little as 30 minutes and is the perfect way to jot down important notes to help stay on top of a hectic school schedule. Read on for all of the details for how this fun project comes together!
DIY chalkboard memo board supplies:
- Darice Unfinished 8 x 8″ Wood Wall Panel
- Darice Sticky-Back Chalkboard Roll
- Darice Fashion Cord Leather Trim
- Acrylic Paint & Darice Foam Brush
- Hot Glue
Before using the chalkboard, rub a piece of chalk over the entire surface of the DIY chalkboard, and then wipe clean with a rag. This will prime the surface of the board to ensure the chalk you use later on doesn’t stain the surface of the board.
I love the idea of using this DIY chalkboard to display the day’s menu, appointments, homework reminders, and any other important notes or information. One of these DIY chalkboards would make a terrific gift for a special teacher!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Getting organized this school year is just a quick craft project away!
