If you’ve had any interaction with females of all ages lately, you probably know just how popular unicorns are right now! - Darice Wood Unicorn Profile Cutout
- Variety of Darice Washi Tape
- White Paint
- Spray Adhesive
- Darice® Craft and Hobby Knife – Number 1 Size
Step 1. Use the wood unicorn cut out to trace the shape on a piece of paper. You can either write out the name by hand or use a computer to print out the name in a font you like. Cut the name out of the paper with a pair of sharp scissors and place aside.
Step 2. Add a coat of white paint to the front and sides of the unicorn cut out. Don’t worry about making it perfect because the washi tape is going to go over the paint. You just want to enough coverage so the wood grain doesn’t show through the thin tape.
Step 3. Once the paint has dried completely, apply a coat of spray adhesive over the entire front of unicorn cut-out. This will help the washi tape stick onto the wood better since it isn’t very sticky to begin with.
This customizable washi tape unicorn DIY art is perfect for any little girl’s room! You can use any combination of colors to make it match the existing color scheme. How cute would a rainbow of washi tape be?
